A business analyst is a technical expert whose main job is to understand the business requirements for an information technology (IT) project and translate those requirements into software or hardware designs. In addition, a business analyst ensures that the designs are executed effectively by guiding the development team and evaluating the project's success. Essentially, a business analyst is an integral part of any IT team and has a key role to play in the success of any project A Business analyst has direct access to the business leadership team because he understands the company's needs and translates those into project requirements. The BA then determines which internal resources are needed to complete a project, assigns tasks to them, and oversees their performance. Subsequently, he ensures that all necessary updates are made to his organization's information systems and maintains regular communication with IT managers, who are responsible for managing projects within his area of expertise. This way, he ensures that his organization's IT needs are met effectively and efficiently.
