UI/UX Design

UI design stands for the user interface. The user interface is the graphical layout of an application. It consists of the buttons users click on, the text they read, the images, sliders, text entry fields, and all the rest of the items the user interacts with.

UX stands for user experience. User experience design is a perspective that provides the goal, vision, and strategy for creating usable products and services. It is the design of interactive systems that support human needs and wants, both by enhancing usability and increasing user satisfaction. User experience is determined by how easy or complex it is to interact with the user interface elements that the UI designers have created. They determine the structure of the interface and the functionality. How it’s organized and how all the parts work easily. In short, they design how the interface works. If it works well and feels perfect, the user will have a good experience. But if navigation is complicated, then a lousy user experience is likely.

Difference

UI Design and Usability is the design of a product, system, or medium that affects the usability or perceived usability by a human. UX design is about creating or studying a user experience (UX) for a product, system, interface, or component. Ux design refers to the process of making something feel natural for users or designing for them.

 Work

So a UX designer decides how the user interface works while the UI designer decides how the user interface looks.

The user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) are two different but interrelated design elements. The user interface helps users interact with devices, apps, systems, and websites in a human-readable way. The user experience puts together all the things that make up your UI like the UX team working out the flow of the app, how all of the buttons navigate you through your tasks, and how the interface efficiently serves up the information users need.
